Australian Reclaiming Community is an eclectic pagan collective. We walk an environmental earth path, explore magical activism and have a strong community focus. We are evolving a dynamic, creative Australian practice which is rooted in the wider Reclaiming tradition of Witchcraft. We are committed to Reclaiming’s 'Principles of Unity'. 

We believe that the Earth is sacred and recognise that diverse community is essential to healthy life. Our core tenets are based on a feminist approach to egalitarianism, the equal sharing of leadership, power and responsibility, and the fostering of personal empowerment. Australian Reclaiming Community uses consensus in group decision making. 

We see the Goddess and God as immanent in Nature and honour divinity in many forms, celebrating both the traditional seasonal festivals and those unique to Australia. 

We incorporate ecstatic dance, song, myth, and drumming in our celebratory rites and observances, creating political and magical ritual that acts in harmony with the cycles and rhythms of Nature.

Australian Reclaiming Community considers self healing, magical practice, political activism and service to the earth to be equally important threads of our work. Through the 'Principles of Unity' our sacred intention is to celebrate and honour ourselves, all other beings and the Earth.

~ Indigenous Acknowledgement ~

We acknowledge that the land on which we live and work has traditionally been cared for by Indigenous Australians. We recognise the work that Indigenous Australians have done, and still do, as custodians of the land. The Australian Reclaiming Community honours the ancestors and ancient spirits of this land.
